Micro Funding

Our micro funding model is designed to catalyze immediate, strategic investment in communications and digital security without creating dependency or administrative burden. Each selected organization receives a flexible micro grant intended specifically to seed or strengthen their capacity in these two critical areas.

Unlike traditional project-based funding, which often dictates deliverables or timelines, our micro funding is unrestricted, rapid, and strategic. It can be used to hire a part-time communications lead, invest in secure infrastructure, run narrative campaigns, or respond to an immediate digital threat. The goal is not to prescribe solutions, but to resource agency.

But micro funding alone is not sufficient.

Organizations are not left to navigate these complex domains on their own. Each grant is embedded within our broader accompaniment model. We work alongside movements to ensure that the funding translates into long-term capacity and resilience. We offer support in identifying priority needs, assessing risk, designing strategy, and implementing change in ways that align with the organization’s vision, safety, and culture.

This approach recognizes that the value of funding is inseparable from the context of power, care, and trust in which it is received. It allows movements to take immediate action while being supported to grow sustainable infrastructure over time.
